There is an opening for a Postdoctoral Research Scientist to investigate how the epigenetic landscape is established in oocytes and how epigenetic errors arise.The project is supported by a the Medical Research Council. The successful applicant will have a PhD in genetics, developmental or molecular biology or a related discipline and should have experience in mammalian oocyte isolation, culture or microinjection, and familiarity with RNAi gene or targeting. Some experience in genome-wide DNA methylation profiling methods would be advantageous. The successful applicant will join an interactive, multidisciplinary team in the Epigenetics Programme.
